Consignment Policies & Procedures:

Consigning with GreenSnail.org is easy, profitable and fun! GreenSnail.org welcomes consignment of high quality, gently used garments and accessories.

GreenSnail.org offers a 40% - 60% share on our consignments. The consignor receives 40% of the final selling price and 60% goes to us. Seems fair, right?

High end, designer, unique, vintage and/or handmade items are what we seek. Garments with holes, tears, missing bits and/or stains will not be accepted. We do not accept items from the following vendors: Target; Old Navy; Walmart; Kmart. While you can get some great stuff from these stores, the reality is that re-sale from these, and like vendors, would not be cost effective for you or for us.

To begin the consignment process, please fill out the consignor form. You can find this form at the “consignor” portion of our site. Complete the form in detail, this will help in determining whether we are able to accept your items. We'll review the form and, if we accept the items and you accept the terms set forth here, you simply mail the items to me.

Upon receipt of your consigned items, we'll examine, catalogue, price & photo. Thereafter, accepted items will go on the site. After 30 days on the site, the price may be reduced or the item removed.

At the conclusion of 90 days from the posting of your items, anything unsold may remain, be stored if seasonal, or be removed. Once consigned, items will not be returned.

The check you will receive for sold items will reflect 40% of the FINAL selling price. Any items that remain posted after 90 days will follow this same procedure/time line.

GreenSnail.org reserves the right to decline to offer for sale any consigned item that does not meet the standards set forth in the foregoing. Failure to meet the standards set forth may include, but is not limited to, the condition, source or style of an item. These items will not be returned, but donated to a local charity.

Thank you for joining GreenSnail.org on the path to a greener (and stylish!) world for our kids!

Thanks!

Kelly
